Brian D. Annese
Brian D. Annese is a Partner and Vice President, Finance and Administration at Commonwealth Capital Ventures. He is responsible for managing the firm’s financial, legal, operational, investor reporting, and administrative functions. He has been working with entrepreneurs and early stage companies for over twenty years. Prior to joining Commonwealth, Brian spent more than 10 years in Commercial Banking, primarily at Fleet Bank, working with early stage and small businesses. Earlier he was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte and Touche where he worked with early stage and Fortune 500 companies.
Brian is a former Vice Chair and Executive Board Member of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge. He holds an MBA degree from the Babson College Graduate School of Management and a BS in Accounting from Boston College. He is a member of the Private Equity CFO Association, the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
