Antenna Software, delivering real business mobility to the world’s most demanding enterprises, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Mobile Enterprise Application Platforms” report. This recognition comes during a landmark year for the company – with more than 200 customers, 250,000 end users and a compound annual growth rate of 85 percent in recurring revenues. A key part of Antenna’s expansion was its acquisition of competitor Dexterra, enabling it to scale globally and drive innovation, while continuing to execute on an aggressive product roadmap for its flagship Antenna Mobility Platform™ (AMP).
According to Gartner, “The offerings in this Magic Quadrant, and mobile application enablement will continue to grow in importance to enterprises during the next three to five years, as enterprises continue to extend decision-relevant information to employees, who themselves are increasingly mobile.” Gartner also states that, “We believe that more than 95 percent of organizations will be choosing MEAP or packaged mobile application vendors as their primary mobile development platform through 2012.”
