BuyerZone.com, the leading online marketplace for business purchasing, announced today that it has registered more than one million businesses that have used its Request for Quotes service for major company purchases.
The company also celebrated its fourth consecutive “New England Technology Fast 50” award from Deloitte in recognition of BuyerZone’s continued rapid revenue growth.
BuyerZone’s free Request for Quotes (RFQ) service streamlines the purchasing process by connecting active business buyers with leading local and national suppliers. The service is used by buyers ranging from Fortune 500 companies and government institutions to small businesses like one-millionth user All Day Entertainment Inc. (www.alldayentertainment.com), an independent DVD label which used BuyerZone to find a new credit card processing service to handle its online sales transactions.
“The BuyerZone service was fantastic,” stated David Kalat, founder of All Day Entertainment. “I thought finding the right credit card processing service was going to be a painful and tortuous process, but the whole thing ended up being much easier and faster than I expected. In the end I found a cheaper service that solved all of my problems within 24 hours.”
BuyerZone’s RFQ service saves buyers time and money on more than 100 different types of business purchases ranging from phone systems, copiers, payroll services and office furniture to construction equipment, security systems and modular buildings. To date, the one million buyers who have submitted RFQs on BuyerZone.com have resulted in over three million connections to the more than 3,000 companies in the BuyerZone Supplier Network.
“The achievement of our one-millionth Request for Quotes demonstrates the value that our service provides to both buyers and suppliers across a broad range of businesses and purchases,” said Sam Zales, President and CEO of BuyerZone.com. “We’re excited to be celebrating this milestone at the same time we are being recognized again by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing companies in New England.”
